Paul P McGoldrick is the Founder and Managing Director of MCG
Wealth Management, an office that provides wealth management services to a
select client base of wealthy individuals, families and foundations. His
primary focus is to service and assist his clients in the management of their
assets. He presently manages assets under advice of over $350 million.
Over his nearly 30 years in the wealth management industry, he
has been responsible for assisting private clients and institutions in
Australia and globally in Canada, USA, Europe and Asia. He was a Vice President
with Merrill Lynch in New York and Canada for over 13 years. He was a Managing
Director of the New York investment banking firm Furman Selz Mager Dietz and
Birney who were subsequently acquired by ING. He was a consultant to the
Canadian investment firm Loewen Ondaatje McCutcheon responsible for
international private clients. He worked as a full time advisor for a period of
time to an ultra-affluent British investor based in Monaco. More recently he
was a Director of PricewaterhouseCoopers in Sydney and a Director trustee of
the PwC Superannuation Fund. He ultimately left the world of large financial
institutions upon realising his clients were not receiving objective advice,
access to outside investment services that better suited their needs and
personal services that so many of the affluent needed in order to simplify
their lives.
MCG Wealth Management focuses exclusively on identifying the
asset management and other needs of their clients and locating the very best
service providers to fulfil those needs. Significant time is also devoted to
the coordination of the client’s advisors, including legal, accounting,
insurance and other professional advisors to ensure all are working in concert.
